| Petr has been interested in photography since his teenage years. Today, Petr's photography consists predominately of New Zealand landscape. He has settled with his family on the West Coast of the South Island, where he found endless inspiration in the stunning and undisturbed local environment. Using these, he makes great escapes into nature.

| Living close to the Glacier region, Petr has discovered the astounding beauty of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Over the years he has developed his expertize in photographing the ice and strengthened his understanding of the ice like fragility of our world. Apart from his passion for capturing and protecting New Zealand landscape, this website is dedicated to the undiscovered icy beauty of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.

| Petr, his partner Kristina and 11 years old Jakub have established a photographic venture and are successfully sharing this beauty with the public by publishing and selling high quality photographs such as Fine Art Prints and prints on canvas, also posters, postcard booklets, unique information cards on glaciers etc. Because of Petr's interest in the glacier subject, he also cooperates with NZ glaciologists. Petr's work has been published in number of NZ and overseas magazines and papers. To name a few; NZ Geographic, Wilderness Magazine, D-Photo Magazine and others. Petr's beautiful and unusual icy images, printed on canvas, is possible to see at his permanent display in the Glacier Centre HUKAWAI in Franz Josef Village on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand.

| Petr still likes shooting his 35mm Fuji Provia transparencies on his favourite Nikon gear. These transparencies make up most of his photo library. Lately, he has added work with Nikon Digital.
